Fishers' Loft is in Port Rexton, NF, one of 12 picturesque fishing outports dotted along the rugged coastline between New Bonaventure and English Harbour on Trinity Bay - the Trinity Bight. An hour's drive from Terra Nova National Park and Golf Course, Bonavista and only minutes from the bustle of historic Trinity, the famous <i>Pageant</i> and theatre festival, restaurants, gift shops and boat tours.
From your guest suite you look across the vast and ever-changing reaches of Trinity Bay. Closer to home and rising from the approaches to Ship Cove is Fox Island, once a fortification. Icebergs and whales visit. Eagles and ospreys are our neighbours.
Age-old paths and cart tracks lead from our door through boreal glades out onto dramatic promontories overlooking the ocean. Back around ponds, through meadows and among traces of forgotten fishing villages. Out along beaches . . always the bracing scent of sea air.
Stay with us for a few days to enjoy the many activities offered in the Trinity Bight. A range of walking and hiking trails, a walking tour of Trinity, live theatre, historic sites, kayaking, boat tours to see whales, icebergs and seabirds, the set of the CBC mini-series <i>Random Passage</i> are all within a short drive of Fishers' Loft Inn.

Our 12 rooms and suites are casually elegant, bright and spacious, four with cathedral ceilings. Ocean views through traditional windows. Award-winning, handcrafted furniture. Comfortable queen-size beds or twins with fluffy down duvets. Ensuite full bathrooms. Suitable for romance or honeymoons. Colour/cable TV, computer hookup and telephone in each room. Each morning we serve breakfast, in the evening dinner in our dining room (licensed) overlooking Trinity Bay. Our kitchen draws from the ocean, freshwater ponds, seaside meadows around us and our kitchen garden in season. <i>Best place to eat in rural Newfoundland</i> (Sieved.com).<br />

Our peak season is from May through October. Reservations are recommended. Children are welcome.<br />
